What is Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)?
FND describes a disorder of the voluntary motor or sensory system with genuine symptoms that may include paralysis, tremor, sensory disturbance, speech symptoms, seizures, among others.
The hallmark of FND is that symptoms can be positively identified as internally inconsistent, distractible, or variable in a way that differentiates them from other known disease processes.
“Dr. Keatley helped me understand my diagnosis and empowered me to do something about it.”
